DEBRA M. BURG COUNSEL

Debra is an experienced business attorney who concentrates her practice on corporate transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, start-ups, and general corporate counseling, as well as trusts and estates, and residential real estate. Debra is of counsel to the firm and focuses on both corporate and litigation matters. Since 2019, Debra has served as a Legal Analyst for the Center for Career and Professional Development at the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University, where she directs compilation of employment data collected for ABA, NALP and US NEWS, assists with employer outreach and market information for employment opportunities for students and alumni, and leads the CLE program at the law school. Early in her career, Debra practiced in New York City based firms, concentrating on corporate transactions, with a particular focus on mergers and acquisitions, public and private offerings, and private equity transactions.

Deb received her J.D. degree from Albany Law School in 1999 where she was a member of the Albany Law Review. Deb received her B.A. in Business (Finance and Marketing) from the State University of New York at Albany in 1996. She also played and was Captain of the Women’s Varsity Soccer Team at SUNY Albany. She is a member of the Westchester Women’s Bar Association of the State of New York and is a Leadership Dutchess graduate of the Class of 2013. Deb is admitted to practice in New York.
